Paper boxes, as a crucial component of the packaging industry, are widely used in areas such as product transportation, retail display, and daily storage. The production process involves multiple steps, from raw material selection to finished product delivery. Each step requires strict control to ensure product quality meets international standards. The first step in paper box production is raw material preparation. The primary raw materials are corrugated cardboard or whiteboard, with varying weights and strengths depending on the intended use. Corrugated cardboard is commonly used for transport packaging due to its excellent cushioning properties, while whiteboard is often used for high-end retail packaging, offering a smooth surface and ease of printing. Suppliers must ensure that the paper meets environmental standards, such as FSC certification or fluorescent agent-free requirements, to meet the green demands of the international market.

Next comes cardboard cutting and die-cutting. According to the design drawings, the cardboard is cut into specific shapes using precision die-cutting machines, with fold lines embossed. This step directly impacts the dimensional accuracy and final product quality of the paper box. Advanced CNC die-cutting technology improves production efficiency while reducing material waste. For cartons with complex structures, such as special-shaped boxes or drawer boxes, additional die cutting is required to ensure precise shaping.

Printing and surface treatment are key steps in adding value to cartons. Flexographic, offset, or digital printing techniques are used to clearly display designs, text, and brand logos. To enhance visual appeal and durability, cartons are often treated with lamination (gloss or matte), hot stamping, and UV spot varnishing. These processes not only enhance aesthetics but also enhance water resistance and abrasion resistance, extending their lifespan.

Finally, folding and gluing are performed. Cartons are folded mechanically or manually along pre-pressed lines and secured with environmentally friendly glue or hot melt adhesive. Automated folder-gluing machines significantly increase production efficiency and are suitable for large-volume orders. Finished products undergo rigorous quality control, including dimensional measurement, load-bearing testing, and visual inspection, to ensure they meet customer requirements.

Every step in the cartons production process requires meticulous management to meet the high standards of the international market.
